Casual Study brings programs to people
We'd love to come to your school, library, church, community center, scout group, or house! We bring all the supplies needed for each program.
Bullet Journaling 101
For up to 20 teens/adults
In person workshop- 2 hours
$275 plus travel fee if applicable (see Travel Fee section below)
Virtual workshop- 90 minutes
$200 for presentation only, $275 to provide journals for up to 20 participants ahead of the program
The first half of the class is a presentation on the history and types of bullet journals. We'll bring plenty of materials for everyone to get started on their journals during the second half of the class. Each participant leaves with their own journal!
Bullet Journaling for Tweens
For up to 20 tweens ages 8-12

The first half of the class is a tween-focused how-to of bullet journaling. Then the kids have the second half of class to get started on their journals. We'll bring plenty of materials for everyone to use and get their creative inspiration flowing! Each participant leaves with their own journal!
Magical Food
For up to 40 teens/adults
90 minute presentation
$300 plus travel fee if applicable (see Travel Fee section below)
This interactive presentation starts with a cooking demonstration of two types of pumpkin pasties- sweet and savory! Everyone will get a chance to try both and see which they like better. While we're passing out samples and sipping butterbeer there's also wizard trivia with cockroach clusters as prizes! The program concludes with a magical photo booth where participants will get to make their own wizard trading card.
DIY Bath Products
For up to 20 teens/adults
90 minute hands-on class
$250 plus travel fee if applicable (see Travel Fee section below)
In this class everyone will get their hands dirty making their own bath products! We'll talk about how and why it's inexpensive and easy to make your own products. Everyone will leave with their own sugar scrub, bath bomb, lip scrub and the recipes.
Handkerchief Pumpkins
For up to 20 teens/adults
90 minute hands-on class
$225 plus travel fee if applicable (see Travel Fee section below)
In this class participants will learn how to sew these quick easy pumpkins from handkerchiefs. Everyone will have time to make at least one pumpkin to take home with them!
Folded Book Witch
For up to 20 adults
90 minute hands-on class
$225 plus travel fee if applicable (see Travel Fee section below)
This is a positively be-witching craft! Folks will learn how to cut and fold their own book witch that stands up all by itself! They'll also have a blast decorating their custom creation with a hat and broom!
Festive Folded Book Tree
For up to 20 adults
90 minute hands-on class
$225 plus travel fee if applicable (see Travel Fee section below)
In this class we'll cut, fold, and decorate amazing book trees! Each participant can customize the decorations on their masterpiece.

Casual Study is located in Sutton, MA. There will be a $50 travel fee when booked beyond a 1 hour radius of Sutton, MA. and a $100 travel fee beyond 2 hours
